“My heroes are the ones who survived doing it wrong, who made mistakes, but recovered from them.” I like this quote of Bono because many of us are extremely hard on ourselves when we make mistakes. The challenge is not to keep beating ourselves up for mistakes, but to forgive ourselves and learn from them. Humans cannot ever be perfect and cannot grow and learn without making mistakes. I also have a firm belief that human beings can only grow through experience pain. An Indian guru, Shri Shri Ravishankar said that pain gives one depth and joy gives one breath.
